Travel Safe With Us
Every place of stay and all modes of transport are selected with individual and group safety as the highest priority. The vast majority of our guests are women, and we take pride in offering a safe spiritual adventure travel experience that our guests and family back home can trust. Though all travel comes with a certain degree of risk, our primary service is to reduce the risks, so you can safely focus on your dreams. The safest way to see India is with a group, after all. Travel Safety in the South
Our place of stay in Kerala is the world-famous beachside AyurSoma Ayurveda Royal Retreat. AyurSoma is a walled wellness center compound with a 24-hour security team. The facility is considered very safe. The main gate to the grounds includes a security office and is staffed 24/7 by the security team. Gates are always closed. Only staff and guests are allowed on the property and all vehicles entering the property are inspected. AyurSoma has its own fleet of SUVs, luxury buses, and staff of drivers available 24/7 for airport pickups and drop-offs, and local transport. Just outside the main gates is a quiet little street with several dozen Indian shops. Guests will find it a very safe, quiet and convenient shopping experience, with opportunities to purchase popular items such as Indian clothing, shawls, sacred art, jewelry, and other cultural items. The only time we leave the AyurSoma property is for our excursion to the beautiful backwaters and a visit to the Attukal Kali Temple and the royal palace in Trivandrum. These excursions are done on large modern AyurSoma buses and driven by AyurSoma staff drivers. AyurSoma is located on the beachside, and all beaches are staffed with AyurSoma security, who also serve to offer beach towels, chairs, and umbrellas.3
Travel Safety in the North
On the Post Retreat Tour, our group is more mobile. Obviously, increased mobility adds some risks. However, Sevanti Adventures leases large luxury buses such as the Volvo 9400 and Mercedes Benz O 500 models. These luxury buses come with highly professional staff drivers in professional attire. On our Post Retreat Tour, our private buses are used for group transport from airports to hotels, and from hotels to our major excursions.4
